Ahead of their upfront, NBC has released a three-minute trailer for "Constantine," its TV series based on the DC/Vertigo "Hellblazer" comics. The series is expected to be more faithful adaptation than the 2005 Keanu Reeves-led feature.
Matt Ryan ("Criminal Minds") plays the chain-smoking supernatural detective alongside Lucy Griffiths, Harold Perrineau and Charles Halford. The series is scheduled to take the Friday 10pm slot which is currently occupied by "Hannibal".
